Enrique Tirado presents a vertical tasting of Don Melchor at Matter of Taste Hong Kong
The winemaker presented six vintages of Don Melchor at one of the wine world’s most exclusive and prestigious events.
On November 6, Enrique Tirado and Luis Gutiérrez, wine critic for Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate, presented an exclusive Don Melchor master class and vertical tasting during the ‘Matter of Taste’ in Hong Kong.
Tirado selected the 2001, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2011, and 2013 vintages of Don Melchor, all of which had received high scores in wine Advocate, one of the most respected wine publications in the world. The influential medium has widely praised Don Melchor over the years as a remarkable Cabernet Sauvignon that faithfully expresses the unique characteristics of the Alto Maipo Valley.
Matter of Taste is an annual event that wine critic Robert Parker organizes in different cities and for which the tasting team carefully chooses the best wines to present in conjunction with the most talented winemakers in the world.
