Top Chilean wine among the World’s Best 100

Don Melchor has reached yet another milestone in its already illustrious history. The influential US magazine Wine Spectator revealed its much-awaited list of the Top 100 Wines of the Year, on which the 2012 Don Melchor appears as the highest-ranking Chilean wine and the only Cabernet Sauvignon of the vintage.

This major recognition places Don Melchor among the world’s greatest Cabernet Sauvignons and makes it Chile’s most award-winning wine—the only one to have appeared 8 times on this prestigious list.

The publication had already commended the 2012 Don Melchor by winemaker Enrique Tirado in February, when it awarded it 95 points and considered it both a Top Wine and a Collectible Wine, and now it appears as Nº 33 in one of the world’s most selective and exclusive rankings, demonstrating once again its incomparable quality and prestige.
