Wine ambassador visits Southeast Asia
Pablo Pressac, wine ambassador of Concha y Toro for the Asian zone, visited different Asian countries during the month of July within the framework of promoting the company’s top brands.
Japan, Indonesia, Cambodia, the Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand were all on the itinerary for the promotional tour made in July by Pablo Pressac, Wine Ambassador for the Asian Zone.
The tour, held between July 3-23, was primarily focused on wine tasting and pairing dinners for clients and opinion leaders, training sessions for the sales force of important restaurants and distributors for the brand in the different markets.
In Japan, in the cities of Kyoto, Osaka and Nagoya, training was given to the sales team of Nippon Liquor, distributor of Concha y Toro in that market, with a focus on the brands Don Melchor, Terrunyo and Marques de Casa Concha.
On July 7th, a wine tasting and pairing dinner was held in Cambodia with local celebrity chef, Luu Meng, at his world-renowned restaurant, Sevensea, specialized in Cantonese cuisine and seafood. The menu that night was accompanied by Marques de Casa Concha Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Carmenere.
In the Philippine capital of Manila, another Marques de Casa Concha wine tasting and pairing dinner was held on July 10th at the Hotel Pan Pacific, with the attendance of distinguished clients, opinion leaders, members of the press and consumers. Here, the wines presented were Marques de Casa Concha Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay and Carmenere.
Likewise, Pressac held training sessions and wine tasting and pairing dinners in Singapore for the team and members of the wine club 1855, one of the most important specialized wine stores in the country.
